John and Simone’s wedding at Windlestraw Hotel in Walkerburn was just gorgeous!

The wedding

The beautiful bride, the sunny weather and the gorgeous bridal party with the cutest flower girls.  Plus the perfect venue which John and Simone chose to marry at.

Windlestraw Hotel in Walkerburn is a little hidden gem in the Scottish Borders. It is where John’s parents had their wedding more than 50 years ago, so it was even more special.

Such a relaxed atmosphere with beers and champagne in the sun.  While people watched the moments happening, which I love at weddings!
John’s son Marcus read a lovely poem at the ceremony, about his late papa.  He had everyone in tears, even me behind the lens!

Lots of emotional moments and lots of laughter too. It really made me appreciate the change in weddings and the X-Factor band at night certainly got the party started!

Simone designed all her own stationery for the day too.  She has a great little business you must check out below!

Congratulations to the Adam’s, it was such a pleasure to capture your day, thank you for choosing me!
