I have decided to feature some of the amazing wedding suppliers I have worked with over the years. I get to work with such amazing people that I just want to share about them with you all.

*Tell me a bit about you...

I am Katherine and I am ‘The Wedding Fairy’. I am a Bespoke Wedding Planner & Coordinator. And have been sprinkling magic on weddings for over five years.

Every wedding is a personal love story and deserves a tailored approach, with a touch of magic.

*What do you love about weddings

Personally, I love that in this job I get to use both the practical and problem-solving sides of the brain. And also the creative side. I also love that every day is so different. So are each are the couples I work with. It’s the biggest honor to be a small part of their story. And to share such an important day – not many jobs can offer that!

*Do you have one top tip for the bride and groom?

Wedding planning especially can feel really overwhelming (for many reasons!). Just always remember why you are doing it! Your wedding day is a day to celebrate your marriage to your person. It needs to feel right and personal to you both. Make your decisions around that and you can’t go wrong. You’ll have a lot more fun in the process too.

*Your favourite wedding memory?

I had a wonderful bride and groom who we had arranged dance lessons for. It was a secret from everyone, even the wedding party, and families.

When they broke into their ballroom steps shortly into their first dance it totally surprised everyone. It led to the biggest cheer. The bride and groom I don’t think even noticed. They were just having the most fun in their little moment together. It was an unforgettable moment for everyone there.
