A beautiful winter barn wedding and a 12 hour round trip for me. In the stunning setting of The Kingscote Barn Wedding venue in Tetbury for Chris & Bethan’s big day.

The wedding

Chris and Bethan were guests at Amy & Matt’s wedding in Bristol. Which I photographed last July.
They then got engaged the day after and after that booked me for their winter wedding. It was so lovely to see Amy and Matt again. Who most importantly were best woman and usher to Chris.

I loved their wedding vibe, it was a rustic theme in the barn. With an added bit of sparkle which is very Beth!

Chris is a Michelin Star Chef. He has a restaurant called the Olive Tree in Bath. Therefore the food and drink was divine as you can imagine Cleverchefs!!

They had a singer Matt (as Beth loves her music) Matt bee – Cotswold wedding guitarist & Jukebox Guitar. Anytime a tune came on that she loved no matter where she was she would dance and sing at the top of her voice. It was certainly a pleasure to capture!

Just what you want for your day. During which there was fun, laughter, dancing and singing. Some amazing food and company! Beth & Chris’ gorgeous boys Jacob and Elliott were the cutest little Paige boys. Chris’ three other nephews were all amazing fun too. However trying to tie them all down for one photo was a bit of a mission (5 boys under 5!!).

Emotions came in waves at this wedding

Firstly With Beth’s late mum singing a song she recorded before she passed away. Secondly for Beth’s dad Adrian to walk his daughter down the aisle. And Lastly with Beth having also done the most heartfelt speech to her mum. There certainly wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Amy in addition did a lovely speech about Chris. It talked about some fun secrets which even Bethan didn’t know. Resulting in some great expression from her, that I loved.

Above all, I can say is this wedding was spot on. Ending the night with an amazing band Festival Heart – Wedding Band. Not forgetting a pizza van along with marshmallows by the fire and sparklers too!
