Small wedding tips for you.
A small wedding can be so lovely and intimate. There are so many positives to it. If your looking for ideas and tips then this blog post is for you.
Have a fun theme
Having a small wedding can mean you can get really creative when it comes to the theme of your wedding. You can add extra personal touches that you may not have been able to do with a large number of people.
Non-Traditional venue?
Have fun with your venue choice. With low numbers, you have more options for your wedding day. You can look at places that are meaningful to you and see if they can accommodate a smaller wedding.
Have fun with your seating
With a small number for the wedding breakfast, you don’t need to be so formal. You could have a round table so you can all interact with each other or maybe one long table. So many choices, just have fun with it.
For the ceremony, you could spiral the seats or play with something that isn’t the usual rows.
Wedding BBQ
A bit different but you could have a wedding BBQ in the back garden and have a formal wedding breakfast. Although make sure you have alternative ideas if you live in the UK (even just some covering). Our weather is a little unpredictable.
Splurge on what you love
A smaller wedding should allow you some movement in your budget. So spend on the things that are truly important to you.
Memories – then spend on the photographer you love.
A Foodie – Spend a little extra to get the food you truly love for the day. Not something you think you should have.
What are the most important parts of the day to you? Spend the extra there. That is what is important. Make the day one to remember for all the reasons you love.
Favors and gifts
As you don’t have to make (or order) as many with a small wedding. You can have a little more fun with it all and get creative.
With fewer people, you won’t feel like you wish you hadn’t taken it on. And do something fun and different, that you couldn’t do for a large number of people.
