Fairyhill Wedding

This wedding took me to the beautiful Fairyhill wedding venue in Swansea in Wales for Rosie and Ryan’s big day.

The wedding

I do love to travel to see different venues and slightly different traditions from what I’m used to in Scotland.

Rosie got ready with her friends and family, including 8 children (it was chaos but the kids were so sweet!). In the cottage on the grounds of Fairyhill.

I used a very cool “why you fell in Love” neon sign in the bridal suite to create some funky shots.

Their whole day was full of so much joy, love, and emotion from everyone around them. They absolutely nailed it from start to finish – we had a lot of laughs!!

They had candles all over, a very cool magician blowing guests’ minds, and a dance floor full of kids. Not forgetting sparklers to end the night.

The K Room is a striking glass construction designed especially to host weddings. The contemporary space perfectly juxtaposes our chocolate-box-pretty Georgian mansion that has captured the hearts of South Wales for over a century. Combining a pinch of 21st-century cool with the charm and character of the original house.
